Instead, I am attempting to use the same criteria as our previous Web Mistress - "An event might be selected for this page because it is nearby, because it has, historically, drawn a large number of Malagentians, because its a Kingdom event, or because I've had a good time at the event before and I think you will too."

Midsummers Faire: Ali Babba and the Vikings
Pack up your camels, and join the Barony of Stonemarche for a middle eastern weekend! There will be fighting, fencing, archery, dancing, drumming, and merchants. We will also be holding the Golden Sword and Golden Foil tournaments for novices.

Castilian Raids/ED War College (Formally called Vineland Raids)
A warmer more decadent cousin of Vineland Raids. As it was custom that several times a year the noble King would call to arms, for military exercises, all his vassals and plan raiding expeditions deep into the rich Tiafa kingdoms of Al Andalus; so we too shall gather and exercise our martial might. For how else do you extract pariahs(read protection money) from the wily and decadent Midrealmers..uhh we mean Moors?

Kings & Queens Archery Championship
Royal Progress Event  Hail to the finest archers of the Known Worlde. Once again it is time to see who will be deemed the best of the best. Aye matey that's right. From the devilsih mind that brings you the Ghost, Ghouls, and Goblins archery shoot comes the Kings and Queens Archery Championship. So come out to face the challenges of timed ends, friend foe shoots, moving targets, and other evil machinations. This promises to be an interesting and challenging shoot for all who participate.

Northern Region War Camp XV/Kings and Queens Equestrian Champions
Royal Progress Event Bring your spears and horns, keep a wary eye, and gird your loins for adventure! The boar hunt is a dangerous pastime, but in the North we laugh in the face of death. It's time again for War Camp, and 2008 is year XV! The gentlefolk of the Shire of Glenn Linn are very excited for this anniversary, and are preparing a special event with fun for all.
